WHAT IS EBPMS?
An Electronic Braking Performance Monitoring System uses information from a trailer’s braking system to assess service brake performance during operation. It gives fleet operators reports they can review as part of their maintenance and safety inspection processes.
EBPMS reports must be assessed as part of an operator’s maintenance arrangements. EBPMS does not remove the need for appropriate inspections or all brake testing.
